TerraLens on the Conservancy's Cover!

This summer, June - September 2015, I was an intern for The Nature Conservancy in New Hampshire. As their photo archivist & digital asset management intern I was in charge of cleaning up the current archives, organizing them, uploading the best photos onto a cloud-based digital management software, and photograph some of the Conservancy's preserves in New Hampshire. I also had the awesome opportunity to take the cover photo for the NH Chapter's 2015 fall newsletter (see the cover photo below).

I got to head out to a local pond with a coworker's two boys who had a reputation for being great frog and toad catchers! Lucky for me and for the photo shoot, their reputation was legitimate and within 15 minutes they had caught a small American bullfrog (Lithobates catesbeianus) to be the amphibian star for the day.

The outcome of the photo shoot is clear from the cover photo below. The photograph is accompanied by an article about the importance of "Walking with Nature" (the article can be read here) and inspiring people to get outside and enjoy nature!

See the online version of the newsletter!
